Easter Brunch, 2015

AS usual, its toooo busy around here. But hey, its Thursday night, I am at the computer about to work on work (gotta have my draft report to my boss by 8 am) and what do I have to do besides blog?  Oh, yea, and think about how Ben is going to be at school (40 miles away) by 8, have the kids to school at 8, me to work by 8:30 when my radiator cap or something is leaking/hissing/popping/steaming.  Did I mention Ben is sick?  But he can't miss school cuz he has a quiz tomorrow plus he has to have the lecture to do the lab. Hmmm. Well, I just brewed a pot of coffee (yup, its 9:25 pm) and I am ready to go. All I need is for the kids to STAY ASLEEP. Let me first say that this working mother thingy is a totally crock of crap.  I have avoided coming right out and saying on this blog since I didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.  But now nobody really reads it, and I don't really care anymore because being true is more important than not saying the truth just c...

Finnley at 18 months, only 28.8 pounds ( my back does not believe it) and 2 feet 9.5 inches (33.5 inches).  Handsome little one!!!      Shortly after this appointment (18 mo check up), we had to go back for Finnley's double pinkeye and double eye infection.   BA.    Then, Rosaleen had to go to urgent care in Taft for an ear infection--- her stats 46 pounds and I think it was 43 inches (3 FEET 5 and half inches).        Oh yikes, I just lost my update.  It included Finn has 16 teeth with molars on the way, and Rosaleen is a good antibiotic taker......... oops.

  Finnley is getting to be such a big boy.  He is startign to have quiet the vocab....ball, baby, shoes, socks, no no, bye bye, poop, thank you, no no, NO, mine (he says my), wawa (water), night night, owee, Oht-oo, no, truck, book, wow, diaper, car, go, cat, no, clap, yea, upie,  moon, airplane, NO.  I am sure there are some others also.   He is still a good little sleeper, mostly.  When he is tired I can say, "do you want to go night night?" and he will smiles and say, "ya".  Then he'll wave night nihgt to daddy and sister.  He also LOVES soccer (more than his sister who is on a soccer team) and he is pretty good at t-ball.  He also loves to climb on anything.   He has 12 teeth that have grown in (4 top and 4 bottoms, plus a molar in each quadrant).  Now his upper canines are erupting.  However, last weekend, while in the bathub with sissy, finn slipped and even though I was rioght there and I did catch him, his fa...

little sleep after Jacob & Kim's wedding Wish you could hear the screeches!  Oh daddy, he brought the bubbles inside. Go Chargers!!! Its hard to be the little brother, only Finn doesn't know it yet Super fun visit from Connor!  We met up with some friend at Mission Bay Park last week.  It was so fun to see our great friend Connor (who moved to Arizona last year). They polyed together like they had never been seperated. Old Friends Connor, Kalena & Rosaleen Look who came to visit!!!! Rosaleen did a little finger painting, while Finnley did some face painting.  It was really his first Van Gogh moment. Sky High, or as we like to call it, the Jumpoline park   Oct. 13 school was closed so Rosaleen met up with some friends at the jumpoline park!  The kids had a great time, and even Finn could join the fun! THey also have dodgeball for adults.........
