I still need to get part 2 of the Oklahoma trip posted, but in the mean time, Rosaleen was in the Nutcracker on Sunday.  She had quite a cheering section: Grandma, Aunt Heather, Aunt Annie and Uncle Doug,  Erica and Lucas, and of course Daddy, mommy and brother were all there to see her shine!   I wish we had the whole performance on video, Rosaleen rocked!

For Thanksgiving this year, we all made a trip to Texas and Oklahoma. While we were there we also: 1) went to Nannie and PaPaw's wedding 2) Went to the Andrews family reunion 3)Spent the day at Right Path Riding Academy 4) Spent some time at the RadioShack with Aunt Chris and Aunt Kathy We really had a GREAT trip.  The kids had so much fun with all the family too.  The trip couldn't have been  better and we missed the freezing storms that hit both before our trip and after!!!! Loading up to fly! just kidding Rosaleen is ready!  What can I say about flying with two kids and a lay over.  It was fine.  Even pretty good, but it is what it is.  The kids did as good as could be hoped for, but still not every moment was bliss.  Both there and back were about the same. We made to Texas!!!!!  First stop.....the RadioShack to visit the Aunts and get Aunt Chris's car.  She was kind enough to lend us her car for our ent...

6-month check up and more

MMMMMmmm, applesauce I am not sure what go into Finn this morning at breakfast, but he was being silly.  Work keeps getting in  my way. I have a lot to blog about, but I never get a chance. I have some pics on teh home camera that I want to post, but these phone pics are a start.   Last week Finnley had his 6-month check up.  He was a champ and had no problems (although he did seem a little scared of the stethoscope).  He didn't even cry when he got his shots. Not to say that he was happy, but he didn't scream.  His stats: Length: 28 and a 1/4 inches (97 percentile) Weight: 18 pounds, 13.6 ounces He is sitting up by himself and rolling his way through the living room. We also have started him on solid foods and he loves it.  I was feeding him avocado or apple sauce every few days, but he really wants more. I am now feeding him twice a day--- which is really slowing my roll. ...feed your baby and be late for work, or don't fee...

Time is passing by

Not much time, but a lot going on.  First, I went back to work (BOOOO). Ben then took some FMLA time and stayed home- but that is over too and now we are both working full time.  That means not much time for blogging.  However, the kids are great and Finnley is doing great at daycare with Rosaleen.  Rosaleen visits him throughout the day and she is a big comfort for him.  Finnley got his second tooth on Halloween and he is already working on his top teeth!! I can't  believe it.  Also, he can balance sitting up for a short bit (like 10 or 20 seconds).  He is trying to get into crawling position too.  He is a super roller, and if he wants something, he'll just roll over to it. Rosaleen is doing great.  She has such an encouraging spirit and a knack for helping out.  She is always caring for Finnley.  She loves baby talk now, and I can see that it will be sticking around for a long time. I had to give her hair a little tr...
