Stop by and vote for a baby name.  We might not choose any of these, but we are thinking about them now (and we have about 16 to 18 weeks to change our minds. Rosaleen chooses Rory Bob.

So, the Grandma's have the "results." Ben and I think we are having a boy, but we don't know for sure. Wowzers.

20 Weeks!

Today I am 20 weeks pregnant, so about 20 weeks to go.   Half way there.   Last week, at 19 weeks 3 days, we had our “big” ultrasound.   We did not find out the sex of the baby, but we were very happy to find out that everything looks “normal”.   Per our request, the ultrasound technician did write down the sex of the baby, but we haven’t looked.   We decided to be surprised!!!!   However, we plan to mail the paper to our moms (she wrote it down twice).   The technician did say the baby measured/weighed 11 ounces.   I don’t think the ultrasounds are very accurate in evaluating weight of the fetus, but 11 ounces is definitely ahead of the curve—although still normal.   Most books and websites say that a 20 week fetus is about eight or nine ounces.   I have included a few pictures from the ultrasound.   It was a lot of fun to watch the baby on the monitor.   The ultrasound lasted about 40 minutes.   The baby was moving ...

Christmastime, 2012

Rode all the way tothe park I am trying to keep on   blogging, but things are happening so fast, I am not sure I will be able to stay on top of it.   This month Rosaleen had her first dance recital, a school Christmas party, went to Aunt Heather’s and Uncle Nick’s for a Christmas celebration, had Grandma, Grandpa and Lauri over for Christmas Eve and   celebrated Christmas with Mommy and Daddy and then went to Uncle Forrest’s and Aunt Jen’s to continue the celebration.   Then she went to the balloon parade, and the next day the zoo. Oh, yea, AND she made ornaments with Cousin Lucas too.   In addition to that, see has mastered the entire play structure at the park.   She can climb up and down EVERYTHING without any help at all.   I can’t believe she can go up the spiral latter and step over to the structure and climb up and down the other equipment all by herself, but she can.   No “catcher” needed.   See why it is so hard to keep up...
