 At Balboa Park Happy April……..already.   Rosaleen is doing great and is doing really well at potty training.   One of the major hang ups though is that she is terrified of public toilets.   If I even take her in a stall, she goes nuts.   Right now I am just keeping her in diapers when we go out, so we don’t have to deal with it, but soon we’ll either have to take her little potty with us, or convince her the public potty is not so scary.    We’ve had lots of visitors in the last month.   Besides sweet cousins Carter and Camdyn coming over for Saint Patrick’s Day dinner (where I took no pictures), friends Rosa and Barbara came down from Sacramento to spend the weekend with the McLernon’s.   The next weekend we went to visit Arizona grandma and grandpa.   Rosaleen had a great time doing basically whatever she wanted there J   Then we went to Aunt Heather’s house for Easter and Rosaleen got to play with cousin’s Ethan and Gavin. ...

Good morning everyone, just a quick blog to share our fun weekend.   On Saturday we all went to dance class, and then to Mission Beach for breakfast, sand and sea J   We had a fun time and Rosaleen used up a lot of energy! First, Rosa has been taking dance class since January.   She is getting to know all the dances and does some of them by herself (without mommy).   She even does them at home sometimes.   This studio puts on a recital every year in December.   I am not sure if Rosaleen will participate or not.   She can be   very shy sometimes.   It took her a month to really participate in the dance class, and another two weeks after that to participate without mommy standing one inch from her.   I doubt very much that she would be ready to go on the stage in December, but no decision has been made yet. Well I am way behind in blogging, as usual.  I'll do a quick outline to catch us all up. 1) We moved! We love our new house.  We love the back yard. 2) We enjoyed Christmas.  Grammy Jill and Grandpa Glenn were here for Christmas. It was great fun and Rosaleen definitely got spoiled.  The livingroom overfloweth with Christmas gifts. 3) Rosaleen turned 2.  She had a great time and was sooo cute. 4) Rosaleen is learning so fast she has out smarted Ben and I a couple times.  She talks very well, and the communication seems to really help with avoiding tantrums (Now that I put that in writting, I fully expect her to have a giant tantrum everyday this week.) 5) Rosaleen and daddy are styaing home today because Rosa has a fever:( Cousin Carter rocking out at the party Little Cousin Lucas at the party with Aunt Heather Lucas rocking out, and Camdyn is watching! Birthday party pictures. Hopefully this weekend I can do an actual blog post-- with more pics.  We have some great pictures of cousins having fun too-- I'd like to post those.   But here are some action shots of the party.  Rosaleen had a great time! Hi There, I have no pictures downloaded onto the computer....and that is my excuse for not blogging:(  I want to blog, I have a lot to tell you about Rosaleen--but no pictures.  I really need to learn to download them from the camera to the computer myself.....waiting on Ben is not working. Rosaleen just had her second birthday, and she had a great time.  We had a big party....lots and lots of people and she really thought it was fun.  A few days after her party she told her daddy, "I want a happy birthday." (Party in implied). Rosaleen is doing so well with her letters and numbers and really likes to color and paint.  She loves to use pens too.  However, Ben doesn't allow her to use pens, because she 'might poke her eye out'.  I personally don't think that will happen, but it is the rule.
