Blue blanket beach baby breakfast burrito with bacon.

Thanks, Daddy I will TAKE that. So we went to the beach the other weekend.  My mom and stepdad were in town so we all decided to go Mission Beach.  On the way we started talking breakfast and got on breakfast burritos.  I LOVE breakfast burritos.  We decided to get a few and sit on the beach and eat them.  I got the works...eggs, cheese, bacon, ham, potatoes, super good salsa (my mouth is watering now) and the rest of the group got a few as well.  We get to the beach and I spilt mine with Sunny....my mom get about half of hers done and asks if I wanted the rest, she was full.  SURE, remember I LOVE these!  But, being the way cool daddy that I am....I offer my 16 month old daughter a bite...and I decide to let her hold it... That is when the fight started.  "Can daddy have that?"  No answer, no movement, no look....just a burrito where her cute face was.  "Rosaleen give daddy a bite."  As I lean in to tak...

Talking and Climbing

Rosaleen and Daddy Wow, I waited too long to update. So much has happened. First, Rosaleen’s cousin Camdyn turned one! Oh what a party! The birthday girl looked beautiful and she sure can throw a birthday bash! For the special event Banana and Grandpa Glenn came out and entertained all the grandkids. Fun, fun. Birthday Girl getting down! Then this very last weekend Grandma and Grandpa Mott came all the way from Oregon to visit. We went to the beach and went to a Father’s Day brunch with a whole slew of Rosaleen’s relatives………..including her daddy’s cousin’s son……………..so, third cousins (I don’t know). Again, lots of fun. In between those visits Rosaleen has been talking and climbing on everything! Really, climbing and climbing and climbing. She reminds me of my cousin Lance when he was a baby. He climbed on everything too. Rosaleen says lots of cute words including outside, banana, waffle, more, bubbles, bath, doggie and my favorite, mommy. She also says leche and agua ...

Growing up!

At the Zoo. The weather here has been a little cool, after a little warm spell and now everyone’s allergies are flaring up. Rosaleen is STILL battling her ear infection, and daddy and I are battling post nasal drip. I wish this goat would turn around! Over Memorial Day weekend, Rosaleen spent Saturday playing at Mission Bay with her cousins and had an impromptu swim session…see pictures. She is using her sign language all the time and I am realizing that she totally understands everything. When I get on my shoes she makes the car sign………when we turn on the bath she makes the bath sign and says her new favorite word….bubbles (apple is soooooo two months ago). Playing with Camy Rock on....bubbles Rico, Suave Snack time is my favorite time. Uncle and Cousin Brave cousin This is squishy Hey dad, do you think this goes over my head? 15 months and a new ear infection

Can you believe we went to Tahoe and Sac and didn't take any pictures?  Sorry, but it is true.  We went to our fabulous friend Marc's wedding to his amazing bride Tina. It was great. Then we headed to Sac and hung out for a day.  It really was great to see so many people, but it is a LONG drive to Tahoe from here. In all, we drove more than 1300 miles. For the MANY people we did not see-sorry we missed you. We just could fit anymore in. Here is a video of Seaworld--our favorite hang out. Also, for no reason (such as a cold/congestion) Rosaleen came down with a double ear infection. !!!!!! Ugh.

Easter Pictures

Here are our pictures from Easter with cousins Ethan and Gavin.  Rosaleen had a great time and her cousins did a great job of teaching her how to hunts eggs. This weekend Rosaleen got to stay at her Cousins Carter and Camdyn's house for several hours while mommy and daddy got to have a mommy and daddy afternoon.  Ahhhh.  It was really nice.  While she was there, Rosa got to go swimming and eat pizza!  What a fabulous afternoon.  Thank you Uncle Forrest and Aunt Jen. Rosaleen is getting several teeth (her teeth take a very long time to come in.  Even after they break the gum, they go up and down for weeks).  She has one big molar that has been up and down (on top), and she has two other spots that are swollen where you can see molars are starting to poke through.  Plus, the forth tooth on the bottom front has been up and down for weeks.  She actually has not been too crabby considering ho...

Rosaleen is doing great.  She has not thrown her plate on the floor in weeks!  This is a milestone I have been waiting for sinse she was about 11 months old when I decided--if I don't give her a plate, she will never learn to use it. She is also getting a molar, which makes her drool a lot.  She doesn't seem to be bothered by it, but I am pretty upset.  Babies don't have molars. Daddy doesn't seem as traumatized by the event. Here is a couple cute pictures with her cousins. They are listening to a small band and loving it. The Easter pics are not downloaded yet.

Rosaleen has been busy as ever!  Here she is visiting with Molly!  It was so great to meet you Molly.  I can't wait until you and your mommy and daddy come visit again! Here is a little beach trip.  I say little, but it was two bags of toys/baby stuff, a big sheet, stroller and a lot of sunscreen. Here is Rosa looking like a big girl.  Yesterday I was telling her she is my little monkey (because she climbs on everything--we had to put all her chairs away), and she looked at me and made the sign for monkey.  It was so sweet.
