Visiting part II
As I alluded to in my last post, we went to San Diego to visit Uncle Forrest, Aunt Jen, cousin Cater and brand new cousin Camdyn. We had a great trip! Luckily we timed the car rides well and Rosaleen slept a lot during our drive times.
Baby cousin Camdyn
This was the McLernon family’s first time meeting little cousin Camdyn who was just over a month old, and Rosaleen’s first time meeting Uncle and Auntie and cousin Carter (almost two years old). With three little ones we kept busy, even with four adults.
This week Grandma Jill is here and next week Grandma and Grandpa Mott are visiting! What an exciting summer Rosa is having.

Carter was so sweet to the little girls. He was gentle and very helpful. He sweetly gave Rosaleen her pacifier many times. He is going to be such a good big brother (and cousin). Although Carter has a lot of energy he knew to slow down and be careful around the babies. We did a little photo shoot of the girls when Carter was at school. It was hard to coordinate, but the girls’ beauty shined through. While we were there Rosaleen also got to use Carter’s toys from when he was baby. Rosa loved it.
With all the traveling Rosa’s sleeping habits got a little spun around. She started waking up multiple times per night trying to get into our bed. In general her tactics worked. Our first night home was the same multiple wake-up story. Lucky for mommy and daddy, she seems to have gone back to her old routine of sleeping in her bassinet all night (with a feed break at oneish and fourish) and then a wake up at about five to get snuggled. I do think that her one am wake up is more for snuggles than for food, but I don’t mind.
Enjoy the San Diego pictures!

SOOOO cute! We love the matching outfits!
