Time is barely creeping along here in San Diego. I am not sure which is more daunting, 8 or 9 more weeks of pregnancy, or the first twelve weeks of feeling yucky.  Yes, I know there is a bunch of laundry on the couch behind my belly shot.  :) 31 weeks This week my work took me out to lunch to celebrate the pending arrival of new McLernon.  Also Saturday the girls took me out for a mani-pedi and LUNCH!  I had a great time and got some pretty wild nail polish.  Woooo Hoooo.  I am very thankful for all the good wishes.   Mama's getting wild~ Getting ready for baby These cute little onsies came from a co-worker.  Ben and I got a kick out of how small they are.  I HOPE the baby is small enough to fit into them!  I am not sure how well you can see the picture, but Rosaleen and I made an Easter cross to hang on the door.  It is decorated with Easter eggs and and other things Rosaleen made.   Easter Project ...

A quick pic to document that we are still here, and getting bigger.  Baby McLernon is growing so fast, but still it seems like this pregnancy is taking a long time.  We can't wait for baby to arrive.....more than 2 months to go. Rosaleen tells everyone the baby is a girl..... and maybe it is. Next month Gramma Jill is throwing a baby shower for little McLernon.  The event is in Arizona and we can't wait to see everyone! These wild ones can't wait for baby to get here and play!

I just got back from an OB appointment.  All is well, and this big 27 week old fetus is measuring 29 weeks.  Whew.   I guess he his going to be big (I don't know that it is a "he", but Ben and I both strongly suspect the baby to be a boy).   It is not a surprise though, take a look at my belly. In the last 10 days my appetite has gone crazy.  I am going to have to be very careful to stay away from snack foods...............darn.

The name poll closed around St. Valentine's Day.  The final results were as follows: Braden-2 votes Finnian-3 votes  and a tie for first place:  What are you thinking and Rory each with 4 votes! For a St. Valentine's Day treat Ben and I had Brianna stay with Rosaleen for a few hours while we ventured out as an adult only party of two.  Brianna and Rosaleen were having so much fun while we were out that Rosa fell off the new couch and hit her head on the coffee table.  Thankfully, it was the back of her head so the scar from the 5 staples she received at the ER won't be visible (unless she shaves her head in the future).   Rosaleen was a brave, big girl at the ER and was very still for the exams, meds, shots and staples.  We go back in 10 days to have them removed. February 11, 2013 was Rosaleen Grace’s third birthday.   We celebrated it three times over.   As all parents will says, where does the time go?   She has grown into a smart, joyful and fun little girl.   Ben and I have so much fun with her, and we are truly blessed to have the opportunity to be her parents. But back to the celebrating….February 4 th through 8 th , Ben had to be in Anaheim for a work conference (at which he presented a training on sampling to other environmental specialists).   Rosaleen and I stayed here at home most of the week, but we drove up to meet him on Thursday evening.   On the morning of the 9 th we got up early and went to DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!!   We started the day with “breakfast with Minnie,” a breakfast buffet where Disney characters join you at your table.   After a long breakfast we ventured out to a Buzz Light Year ride and then onto the Castle at Fantasyland.   We spent a long time i...

Here is a pic of the baby bump and some of Rosaleen's handy work!   That top picture doesn't really show how big the belly is.  I will try to post another next week too.   I guess the grandma's are finally in the know about the sex of our baby.  If you want to know, you'll have to email or call them:)
