Here are some pics of our new house-- It has lots of things we want to fix up, but overall it is mov-in ready in the sense that everything works.  However, the kitchen is Ben's first project (well, really electircal upgradeis first, but that is not Ben's project). backyard 1 Standing at front door Kitchen Backyard We are SUPER excited!!!!

I have been trying to get to the computer to blog for days. We returned from our Texas and Oklahoma trip on Tuesday (to go back to work on Wednesday). We had such as great trip. We started in Texas by flying into Dallas and getting picked up by Grandpa and Nannie. We then went to Aunt Chris’s where Aunt Kathy and Uncle Alvin were waiting, along with Cousin Victoria (Rosaleen’s Great Aunts and Uncles and her second cousin). We played all night and ate lots of candy. Then right at bedtime Cousins Brian and Tammy(Sunny’s cousins) showed up with little cousins Abby and Brayden (Rosaleen’s second cousins) and with Uncle Keith and Peggy (Rosaleen’s Great Uncle)! What a house full. Uncle Alvin's Boots almost fit Reading in the morning is fun The next day was Thanksgiving (and Ben’s 40th birthday). We had a great day and Rosaleen, Abby and Brayden played all day! See pics. We ate all the traditional foods for Thanksgiving and we were joined by Cousins Wayne, M...

This weekend Rosaleen, Mommy and Daddy met Cousin Ericka, Matt and little Cousin Lucas at the zoo. We had a fun time and Rosaleen got to see lots of animals, which she loves. Little Lucas was a super cutie and he didn’t make a fuss once the entire time!!!! The mammas and the babies When we got home Grandpa Pat was at our apartment to visit. Grandpa brought his four legged-furry friend Millie along too. Rosaleen had a super great time showing off for Grandpa and covering Millie up with blankets. Rosaleen even said the entire alphabet by herself for the very first time. She has been almost doing it for a couple weeks, but in order to impress Grandpa she said the whole thing. Lucas and Rosaleen smiling at each other Today we took Rosaleen to get her foot measured. It measured an 8, but because it is narrow and 8 is actually too big. We got her a 7.5 and a 7. Rosaleen was getting new shoes for her big trip coming up. This Wednesday we are all leaving for Texas...

We had a most wonderful halloween. Check out Rosa and her adorable cousins. Grandma and Grandpa come to visit tomarrow.  They'll be here until Tuesday. AND big news here: tonight when I took off Rosaleen's diaper for her bath, she went to her potty, sat for a minute and then got up.  She didn't say anything, so I looked in the little potty...............and there was pee pee in it!  Wow Rosaleen!  Using the potty for the very first time, and on her own.  I was super impressed.  As a matter of fact, if you are reading this blog, you might have already gotten a text message about this very topic. Night-night

Daddy, I am big....I don't need to hold yor hand. Looks like fun out there. Wow, what can I say. I feel very guilty for not blogging for SOOOOO long. I couldn’t possibly catch up on everything, so I will just say that Rosaleen is doing so great. She is so amazing and she really amazes me with her knowledge everyday. Today we were looking at a picture of she and I at the beach that was taken back in January or February. She pointed to the picture and said beach. I was expecting her to say “mommy” or maybe “Rosa” but I guess that was too easy. Yesterday Rosaleen and her parents took cousins Carter and Camdyn to a Fall Festival near the house we are buying. It was put on a by a church we have gone to a few times. The festival was great and we had so much fun with the kids. All three kids got to jump in the little kids jump house for about 20 minutes before any other kids joined. By that time Rosaleen and Camdyn looked like they were completely out of ga...

We went to the Wild Animal Park recently and watched a cheetah run about 100 yards and get up to maybe 50-60 miles an hour.  She is beautiful, see picture.   Big bowl of meat after that run. Rosaleen was like..whatever, oh look..."Water!" Again, see pics.  We just sit there and let her run until she is waterlogged.   Get that tongue back in there! Not what it looks like, come on people.  The water is coming from the alligator's mouth So Cute!  Nice dress too. Cousin Carters 3rd Birthday was a blast, Rosaleen loves cupcakes! Her and cousin Cammy had on the same dress...oh my! So cute!  Nice dress too.  Hey wait a minute I have seen that dress before! MMMMMMMMMMMM!  Cupcakes!  Big bite Cousin Carter. Rosaleen is growing more...
