So, I am just wondering........you'all with kids..........do they beat you up?  Not intentionally, but Ben and I feel like we need safety goggles and possibley a helmet or body armor around here. Rosaleen is CONSTANTLY hitting us with a toy, or shoe, or something and she pokes us in the eye a lot.  Not little pokes either.  She flapps her hands and rakes her fingers over our eyeball about once a week. She does end up in our bed a lot, so of course we get the kicks to the face and ribs, but usually, those are not as bad. If you could just weight in on this, I think Ben and I might feel better:)

We had a very busy weekend --great fun all around, but it leaves very little time for blogging:)  Great news though, we took Rosaleen to the doctor today to make sure that her ear infections were gone and they are, AND there is no fluid in her right ear and very little in her left!  This is the first time that she has had very little fluid in her ears since AT LEAST September.  I think it can be attributed to the exceptionally warm weather San Diego has been having, considering it is winter.  It was 78 today (and 48 in Sacramento). Ben started work, so far so good. Things are fine with my work.  I still wish we could get a closer daycare. We are on the lists................ I will try to get the Sea World pics off my phone and post them soon.  They really are cute.

Wow- I have a lot of catching up to do. Honestly I have SO much to blog about, that this blog could be three pages. In an effort to avoid a huge blog, I might just bullet point some things. · First, Christmas was VERY fun and we have a million pictures    · I have tried to post only Christmas pictures in which mommies and daddies don’t look like they were up half the night with crying kids, which pretty much means no adults can have any of their pictures postedL · Unfortunately, this picture posting methodology cuts out a lot of cute kid pictures;) · We made it to San Diego despite the fact that the entire state had a terrible storm the two days that we were driving/moving! · We are basically settled in · Rosaleen has a double ear infection and is teething · I started work, it is good · Ben starts work Friday · Daycare is FAR away from my work and our apt, but it is good (and close to Ben’s work) Also, Daddy, Mommy, Banana Jill and Rosaleen went to the...

I love to dance to music  Helping Mommy pack clothes  This will be  the last post before we move. We are working like crazy here trying to finish up our jobs, pack, coordinate our new place in San Diego, clean, deal with the horrendous and reoccurring ant invasion, etc. However, the computer is getting packed up tonight (we need a laptop).  Still helping Mommy pack  In bittersweet news, we did adopt out our sweet dog Casha. She LOVES her new home and she gets plenty of human attention (she much prefers human attention to other doggie attention). I also have a few of Rosaleen helping us pack. If we have a box or suitcase or drawer out, she loves to crawl in and out of it. She also really LOVES to take stuff out of boxes or bags. Very helpful. Finally, Rosaleen’s top tooth finally cut through. It is not quite in yet, but she almost has tooth number three. Let the big girl food begin! Merry Christmas everyone. We wish you a safe and ble...

Here are a few pictures that our friend took while we were at a dinner party this weekend. We thought they were fun. Rosaleen did a lot of walking this weekend, but now that the weekend is over she is back to crawling. Also, you can see where her top teeth are in her gums, but they still haven’t come in. They don’t look they are that close to the surface. I start at my new job January 10th and Ben starts the 14th (pushed back from the 7th). We have telephone interviewed a few places for daycare and we are trying to find a good home for our dog (apartment life will not be easier on her, or us!). Our landlord was able to rent our house, so we are off the hook for our lease (whew). I guess we are checking things off the list left and right. ...

Hello! Sorry it has been so long since we blogged……….. but our internet service has been turning off at about 5 or 6 every night for about three weeks. After many hours on the phone and two technicians coming to the house……….. it is finally working during hours I am actually home! Anyway, the big news, Ben and I, and Rosaleen and I are moving to San Diego at the end of this month! Whoa! The next big news, Rosaleen is taking little steps! The most she has taken at one time is five, but she is pretty excited about it (so are we). She is also jabbering and LOVES to be part of the conversation. Anyway, the next few weeks are going to be crazy for us. We are loading up and moving, Ben and I will both be starting new jobs, Rosaleen will be starting new daycare--fulltime for the first time (eeeeek). I will try to keep you posted.

 Daddy made me a funny hat  Well we have a lot of pictures to post, but they are all in the house. It looks like we never go anywhere.  Kimberly came to visit!  Rosaleen is getting pretty good at standing on her own and she is trying to cut her top two teeth. Last week (Tuesday and Wednesday) she was exposed to hand-foot and mouth disease at daycare (virus, fairly common for daycares). So far though she has not shown any symptoms of it—praise God for that, especially since she “shared” a pacifier with a baby that does have it (Rosaleen is notorious for taking pacifiers at daycare). See my teeth BaNanny? On Sunday I thought she had an ear infection so we took her to urgent care. She does not have an infection, but there is still fluid in her ears. Ugh. We did get to weight her and she was more than 21.5 pounds!  Too much milk  I have a few videos to up-load. She and daddy made a drum, so there are a few videos of that and BaNanny...
